Sharing Good Practice-Steve Blatnica
Kahoot.it website allows teachers to create quizzes or search for quizzes on a variety of topics. Teachers can create a free account and build their own multiple choice quizzes.
Students participate with their own mobile device or laptop computers. The site keeps track of student responses and awards points for accuracy and speed of response. After each question a leader board of Top 5 is displayed. At the conclusion of the quiz the teacher can download a complete response spreadsheet to track each students progress and responses.
This web-based site is easy to use and share quizzes created by you or another. Search the over 4,000 existing Kahoots, or create your own Quizzes. Upload a picture for each question that helps supplement each question. You are able to adjust the timing for each question.
Cons: There is a text limit to your question and answer sections.
